Well, we are finally ready for our Christmas Performances. Children in Year 2 have been singing and dancing themselves dizzy getting ready for Lights, Camel, Action! If the rehearsals are anything to go by, it should be a great show. Then there is the Foundation Stage. They are preparing for their first performance at Outwoods Edge, a magical show called A Stable by Starlight and it will be one to remember for all parents and friends. And it doesn’t end there! In the last week of term Year 1 children and Key Stage 2 will be singing carols to celebrate Christmas.
It is always hard work for the children and staff but the result is always a lovely spectacle. I hope to see as many of you as possible at the shows.
We have also got our Christmas dinner on Thursday. Thanks you to everyone who has returned their menu choices for that day. The end of a busy week will be capped off by our trip to the cinema. Some children will be travelling by bus and others will be walking. If your child is walking, please make sure that s/he is suitably dressed for quite a long walk into town.
