I can’t quite believe that we are heading towards half term already! It has been a short half term and the children have had a busy five weeks since Easter. It has been great to see the classes start their new topics with real enthusiasm and interest. They have been creating recycled objects in Year 3, looking at graffiti artists in Year 5 and listening to air raid sirens from under the table in Year 4. There will be a chance to come and see the results of their work when we have our Open Evening later in the term. This annual event will be held on 26th June between 6pm and 7pm. Please put the date in your diary and visit the school.
We have also planned in two special activities next term for the children. The first is a whole school writing week based on a shared theme and the second is a final Art Day of the year.
