Mr Maksymiw’s news w/c 21st January

Dear Parents,
During this half term we are working more closely with our local police officers as they deliver messages about Stranger Danger and keeping safe. So far they have been working with Year 4 and this week they will lead an assembly for all the Key Stage 2 children. Later in the term officers will be at school during Parents Evening to answer your questions and to speak about their work with the local community.
We are planning to hold our Parents Evenings before half term, on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th February. We intend to use the online booking service again and a reminder how to book an appointment will be sent out next week. These meetings are crucial and I would encourage all parents to attend them.
Finally, could I let you know that Tesco have agreed to support our plan to build a multi-purpose running track at school. Could I encourage you and your family to support this initiative and put a token in the Outwoods Edge box!
