Mr Maksymiw’s news w/c 26th November

Dear Parents,
I have been speaking to the children about how they ride their bikes and scooters to school. This is after a series of complaints from parents and other children. Unfortunately, it seems that a few children have not been riding in a sensible and safe way.
I have spoken to everyone about keeping safe on the roads. Mrs Wilson and I had road safety as the theme of our assemblies last week. I have also told the children to get off their bikes when on the school site. I will be monitoring the children and encouraging them to ride sensibly. However, regrettably if there are more complaints I will consider banning certain children from using their bikes to get to school.
On a different matter, we will be saying a temporary goodbye to Mrs Williams at the end of this week. She is beginning her maternity leave. We wish her all the best and hope that she finds time for a rest before her new baby is born. After a short break, Mrs Wilkins will be taking over class Spruce as she is returning from her maternity leave.
