Following some recent movement, we have places available in some year groups. Please contact the school office for information.
PSHE
Personal, Social, Health, and Economic Education (PSHE) at our school is delivered through the JIGSAW programme from EYFS to Year 6, providing a consistent and progressive framework that supports children’s emotional wellbeing, social skills, and personal development. Our PSHE curriculum is thoughtfully enhanced with additional opportunities to enrich learning and build essential life skills.
Children benefit from St John’s Ambulance first aid teaching, equipping them with practical skills and confidence to respond in emergencies. Our annual Careers Week broadens horizons and inspires future aspirations by exposing pupils to a variety of professions and pathways. Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) is taught sensitively and age-appropriately throughout all year groups, helping children understand healthy relationships, respect, and personal boundaries.
We prioritise e-safety education, ensuring children learn how to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly. This is supported by important safeguarding initiatives, including the NSPCC’s Speak Out, Stay Safe programme and the PANTS rules, delivered annually to ensure children know how to protect themselves and seek help when needed.
Our PSHE curriculum nurtures well-rounded, confident, and responsible young people, ready to thrive now and in the future.
PSHE lessons are delivered weekly.
Our PSHE Leader is Mrs Alice Taylor
