Outcomes at the end of Key Stage 1

Key Stage 1 SATs

At the end of Year 2, children take a series of tests in reading, writing and mathematics. These tests, along with assessments of the children’s work in the classroom, help a teacher to decide if a child is working at the ‘expected level’ for the end of Year 2. Some children might be working at a higher level or a greater depth. The results for 2017- 2019 are shown in the table. There are no results for Summer 2020 or Summer 2021 as there have been no statutory tests.
